They would have remained so had Eve not gone to the tree being amazed at the gold and Gem studded being that was in front of her. Adam was not prepared to meet Eve who was fallen  even as Eve was not prepared to meet Lucifer. Both fell as a result. Jesus was God's physical form with no form or comeliness visually having blood in him. The phrase not my brothers keeper was  spoken by Cain trying to clear his conscience acting like he knew nothing about what happened to Able.
