Eternal burning is a doctrine of devils. The sun running out of hydrogen would have been  burning Hell that Daunte's inferno talks about.  The lack of it being freezing Hell that the divine comedy talks about. That would happen had God not kept Adam and Eve away from the tree of life when they fell. Pain would  have been eternal. That would be the worst thing that could ever happen to us. God kept that from being a reality when he kept Adam and Eve away from the tree of life when they fell.
