The rabbit and raccoon who were treated badly were kind to one another finding a solution to the problem they found themselves in. They did not want to be mean to one another like the bear and moose. The bear had a reasonable solution asking the moose to go back to allow the bear to cross. The stubbornness of the moose perpetuated the problem. Neither one wanted a meek humble spirit to be in them. The bear would have done what he wanted the moose to do had the bear humbled himself. Their mind's worked in forward not reverse. Both of them ended up losing.
